British Canoe Union Accredited Courses
The BCU's Performance Award Schemehave the Paddlepower scheme for under 16's and the revised Star Award scheme for the over 14's. Both the Beginners and the Improvers canoeing courses will cover the skills and techniques relevant to each scheme with appropriate awards being given when the required level is achieved. A range of open canoes and kayaks will be used. Please feel free to call for further clarification.

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction into the sport of canoeing. You will be introduced to practical and theoretical aspects such as: basic strokes, equipment and Safety afloat.
Please note that these courses are open to both adults and juniors.
